     Effective Leadership
Geauga City Offices 470 Center St. Bldg. # 8, Chardon, OH 44024

This workshop will help to answer two essential questions: What is an educational leader? How can you increase your effectiveness as an educational leader? The answer to these questions will be the center of the discussion. Knowing yourself better, getting clarity around the situation and acquiring new skills are at the center of principal leadership development. As school leaders fulfill their role, they are exposed to increasingly complex and shifting challenges. Typically, school leaders receive little preparation or support on the job to meet these leadership challenges. This workshop is designed to assist current and future principals in their growth and development as leaders.

     Backward Lesson Design
Lake County Educational Service Center 382 Blackbrook Rd.,

Attendees will also learn techniques and strategies for motivating and building confidence in students. The audience includes teachers at all levels, subject matter and assessment specialists, principals, curriculum directors, pre-and in-service trainers, and school-based and central office administrators and supervisors.
