This workshop is designed to address the issues surrounding funding,
building, expanding and renovation of your facilities. The workshop is
intended for educators interested in enhancing facilities. Attendees
will be presented with a new and innovative concept in facility
improvement and will learn how to better communicate your plan to your
board, your school, and to your community. Often even the most versed
school or city administrator doesn't understand the complexity of
building, expanding or renovation of their facilities in compliance with
the Ohio School Facilities Design Manual.
Often even students who do well in class do not understand the subject
they have been studying conceptually. This class will help teachers
guide students to build conceptual understanding. Attendees will also
learn techniques and strategies for motivating and building confidence
in students. The audience includes teachers at all levels,
subject-matter and assessment specialists, principals, curriculum
directors, pre-and in-service trainers, and school-based and central
office administrators and supervisors.
